Tiger Brands was voted second in the Graduate Employer of Choice for the FMCG sector in the South African Graduate Employers Association (SAGEA) 2018 survey.
The SAGEA survey was conducted amongst 2,281 new employees entering graduate programmes at 106 organisations, and is based on the graduate recruitment activities conducted for the previous year (2017).
The survey is independently conducted, and probes a number of questions relating to the candidate experience during their recruitment process, including factors which influence application, offer acceptance decisions and the future plans of candidates.
“As an organization that is passionate about developing people and is focused on creating a great place to work and unleashing the power of our people, we are delighted by this recognition and achievement”, says Sinenhlanhla Magagula, Chief HR Officer for Tiger Brands. “We plan to continue this focus on our management trainee programme – currently one of the best in the country – to ensure that we attract groom, and retain young talent at Tiger Brands as part of our human capital strategy. Well done to our leaders and the HR team that work tirelessly to make this come alive across our organization”.
Now in its ninth year, The SAGEA Employer Awards celebrate the achievements of South Africa’s leading graduate employers. The awards are decided entirely by successful job hunters, who have received confirmed job offers from graduate employers.
